Saravia: "I grew into the game as it progressed"
The defender talks about his debut
Valencia CF full-back Renzo Saravia assessed the draw against RCD Mallorca, which featured his debut for the team.
His debut for Valencia CF
“I’m happy with my debut on an individual level. I was very eager to make my first appearance for this great club. It was a difficult game against opponents with some great players. I grew into the game as it progressed, I have much more to offer, and I’m going to keep improving to earn a chance in the upcoming matches.”
The draw
“We leave here with a bittersweet feeling, knowing we had some chances that we could have converted. We have to keep working; we have a very important game at home against Girona FC this weekend, and for this point to be valuable, we have to win that match. We'll work towards that.”
The upcoming game against Girona FC
“We were coming off two defeats, and it’s always important to break that negative streak. To make this point count, we have a very important game at home and we’re going to give it our all.”
The team's reaction
“We had a great second half overall. We had chances to score a second goal. We need to try to reduce our mistakes and be more clinical in the next game.”
